Anwara Upazila administration is standing by the newspaper salesmen (hawkers). At noon on Wednesday (July 28) at the Anwara Upazila Parishad office, UNO Sheikh Jobayer Ahmed distributed food items including rice, pulses, onions, potatoes, oil and salt to newspaper vendors.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sheikh Jubayer Ahmed said that the newspaper sales representatives (hawkers) have been financially affected due to the Corona situation and lockdown and they have been provided relief assistance from the upazila administration on humanitarian grounds. Upazila Project Implementation Officer Jamirul Islam was present at the time.
