Karnafuli (Chittagong) Representative,

Hon'ble Land Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, (Chittagong-13) Anwara and Karnafuli MP Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabed MP handed over a check for a total financial grant of Tk 13 lakh for the treatment of helpless patients in Chittagong Karnafuli Upazila. The checks were handed over to 26 helpless patients on behalf of the land minister in the Upazila Parishad hall on Sunday (August 8) by Ridwanul Karim Sayem, private secretary to the land minister. Also present were Karnafuli Upazila Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Faruk Chowdhury, General Secretary Haider Ali Rony, Joint General Secretary Nazim Uddin Haider, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Didarul Islam Chowdhury, Women Vice Chairman Banaja Begum Nishi, Karnafuli Upazila Juba League President Solaiman Talukder, Shikalbaha Union Parishad Chairman Jahangir Alam, leaders and activists of various organizations including Upazila Awami League, Juba League and student League.
